Outdoor Wedding Ideas

So, you're planning an outdoor wedding theme and need some outdoor wedding ideas? Awesome! A few pages are already with this focus, like a August wedding ideas,
a backyard wedding themes,
beach wedding ideas, garden weddings,
Hawaiian, country, and there's
a forest theme on the main page. Sooo, if you
don't find what you're looking for here, then look at any of these other pages for some inspiration! In the meantime, the outdoor
wedding reception ideas I'll provide will be with a broad approach: if you have grass and trees, you're set to use these concepts.
On this page, I had a lot of fun playing around with the concept of using a gazebo, which can be found on-site or rented. The
colors (which could really be ANY color scheme) are red and orange. I chose these colors because they're sunny and bright,
really standing out against the greenery of the outdoors.
To start, the dress is from Alix and Kelly, a fantastic source for an outdoor wedding dress that is casual yet elegant.
Normally I don't like "loud" bridesmaid dresses since I think they're a little unfair to the bridesmaids who should have a reusable dress,
but I truly love this one from Ali B Maids. Again, outdoor wedding receptions tend
to be a little louder, especially with these colors, and that's great!
Think about hanging kites throughout the site as an outdoorsy decoration, making elaborate tails from various ribbons and bows.
The wedding favor boxes are from Sophie's Favors, but you can also
make these by buying a ton of orange silk flowers and taking a glue gun to them with red boxes.
For your candle holders I like the outdoor wedding reception idea of using mosaic candles... it's a multitude of colors and a little
different from traditional candle holders.
I also suggest red lanterns to place on the side of the white chairs for your aisle, maybe adding a few flowers to them as well.
The first of many outdoor wedding ideas is to use as many loud, colorful objects as possible. In this case, we have
paper lanters from Paperlanterns.net, and orange tissue paper pom poms
that you can actually make yourself. Martha Steward Weddings is full of outdoor wedding ideas, this being a great one.
Hanging flower balls for an outdoor wedding reception idea is another way to create a colorful space.
One blog gives step-by-step instructions on how to make them, and they're not too difficult to make!
More Outdoor Wedding Themes: Coastal Style
So on the opposite end of the color palate, the outdoor wedding ideas shifts to a coastal theme with colors of gray, maroon and lavender.
These colors are not often used as a combination, but they look great together!
We can see many of the same ideas being applied here: lighting is just as important, using paper lanterns, candles, and other candle
holders.
The parasols and lanterns are from Luna Bazaar, which can add so
much for whatever outdoor wedding ideas you have.
The dress is from Kleinfield Bridal, and the bridesmaid dress
is from Alfred Angelo.
