Orange wedding colors are surprisingly lovely: they're bright, sunny, playful, and can look just as gorgeous
as "traditional" colors. For some wedding color combinations, you can complement it with fuschia, yellow, gold
or even black. Otherwise, it can stand alone and look very elegant. I created a subdued, light palate below.
Wedding flowers are tulips, roses chrysanthemums, gerbera daisies, poppies, cala lillies, and dahlias: all of these
can look amazing for this scheme. Think about pinning an orange flower to the back of the chairs at the reception area.
Another thought is choosing a venue with light brown tones, like a venue with wood floors and walls: this makes the color stand out as opposed
to a venue with just white walls. Also, watch the carpet color. A blue carpet or any other color could clash with orange.
The wedding cake is from Pink Cake Box. I love the fondant!
I recommend using orange table cloths or table runners. They easily add color and texture.
Color Board
From this board, we can see the use of orange candle sticks, paper poms, floating candles in orange petals, curly willow
with orange blossoms, patterned table runners (highly recommended), paper lanterns, and orange candle holders. Little
orange accents in the form of napkin rings, patterned orange dishes, beverages and creative touches like books
as centerpieces (love it) can add so much.
