A dark blue wedding theme is one of the harder ones to truly implement, though I recommend throwing the reception at night, preferrably
outdoors. Lighting the area with many tea candles and overhead lanterns will give the illusion of stars and the night sky. Sparklers are also
beautiful with midnight blue wedding colors. If the color is used as inspiration for a Van Gogh "Starry Night" theme then this could easily be one
of the more unique wedding themes out there.
I know there are many different shades of this color, and I'll get to Tiffany blue and pale blue eventually. This one is a deep, midnight blue with
the darker the color, the better. Silver and blue makes a great unique wedding color ideas combination, but this color can easily be paired with
gold, white, and dark purple.
Don't be afraid to use solid blue linens. Your choice of cake can easily be made in the dark-blue color. Blue wedding flowers are
a little tricky to find, but these hydrangeas can do the trick, as can certain dyed flowers like roses and carnations. Just work with
your florist. Based on the gallery, very few brides design their wedding with blue as the only color, though it can be done. On the very
first page, the bride appears to have used brown, but the overall effect is still stunning.
